Hi guy's,
I want to build DML's Panther A late in normandy.
I've been looking at PE and barels for it and now I'm stuck.
On the PE I have a choice of:
Aber, complete set PE,Barel,Towcabel and stowage bins (64,75 )
Eduard, Panther aerly ausf. A (13,75)
Parts PE, Detail set Panther A aerly(14,75, really like this one but for a aerly one)
Trackz, detail set (21,50)
As for the barel:
Jordy Rubio German 7.5cm KwK L/70 (Panther A.D.G)(7,50)
JR German 7.5cm KwK L/70 (Panther A.D.G) (7,00)
JR 75mm gun for Panther A/D (designed to be used with the Dragon kits(7,50)
What would you do
I really don't know any more I could really use some help with what and what would not fit
TIA Jan-Willem

get the Aber-barrel... it is awesome. I have just built one for the Jagdpanther. If I compare it with the resin or white-metal ones, there is simply no competition.
And for the super-set; indeed, it is expensive (Jadar though sells it for 51.80 euro's). But it has all in it. It also depends on what you want to do. And, depending of what you want to do, you get to 60 euro's quickly if you add it all (Details, skirts, barrel)..
Anyways, good luck with your search.

Janwillem,
I concur with an ABER Barrel, I have one for my Panther D and it is AWESOME! I also have the ABER PE set and Shurtzen. I have also had good experience with EDUARD too! HTH

Well in the first pic is my "A" Panther with the Aber barrel. The second is a "D" with a Rubio. Finally a "G" also with the Rubio. The aber deluxe set was used on all three versions. I mean if you get the deluxe set, you will have PE for late and early D's, A's and PE for your figure uniform decorations. The Aber barrel is awesome, the muzzle break has about eight parts!
Take a look and decide which you prefer!
