looking good so far,
a couple of points;
the commanders cupola on the sherman is not attached correctly, the rear half is lifting away from the turret, it may need re-attaching.
the stowage on the turret side needs something to hang from, rope etc.
i do like the small arms hit on the turret, can you explain how you achineved this effect?
regards
joe

Looks good so far. And yeah, that cupola looks like it's comming off. Of course it might not be glued down yet. I like the weathering on them.

i know about the hatch, thnx for the stowage suggestion will fix that up.
the small arms damage is very very simple
get any hard pointy metal object ( i used flat head screw drvier) heat it up over the stove or any fire tool, and while its really hot just poke the area.
come on guys bring in the comments

very nice..i like the battle scars on the turret..how did you do it? the m-20 needs dusting..specs all over ruins the picture. remember we're achieving to be 'the most real' as possible. keep 'em coming.

an overall solid bit of work that you can be proud of.. I like a lot of the wheathering. esp on the shermans running gear..
The tow cable on the M-20 prob should be laying flat agaist the hull along the top.. the reference book does show the cable draped over the front plate with a bow in it..but the upper hull it lays flat.... not that easy to do with wire at least.
and you've made the decals look good but they could use some work.
did you gloss coat the model or future coat it before applying the decals or did you just apply them on the flat paint? using a gloss coat under the decals prevents 'sivering" (seeing the clear part of the decal that is around the image) which you can see a bit of on your kits..
also the decal on front of the M-20 isn't snugged down that good.. Micro sol and micro set are good but the best thing i've ever found to snug decals on a model is Solveset by Walters... it literally melts the decal onto the detail of the model.. but beware its fairly powerful stuff..
and the M-20 seems to be missing some headlights..
I'm also a thinking that M-20 is the Italiri version...
remember we all improve with practice. I know i've only been doing this a few years and have a photo-history online of my first to latest builds and the difference in what i'm doing is vastly improved partly from the help I get here on Armorama. :>

delbert most impornantly, these models are not finished, the headlights will comelater aswell as the flatteing of the tow cable ( i really should have waited until they were finished) anyway with the decals, i just stuck them on straight from the card. i didnt even dull coat them, all i did was drybrush over them. regarding the clear part is virtually invisialbe from a normal naked viewing eye. now regarding the "snugged down effect" i admit i got lazy there. at the time i didnt have any softner and i was really excited to get the decals on so i just thought, screw it i will put them on anyway. but considering that i did it without softner i thought it looked pretty damn convincing.
however i am very happy with it condiering its my very first tank and vehicle.
thnx for input.

Lookin good Matt.
You might wanna re-do the paint chipping so it's not silver though, should be the base coat color.
What about that wirbelwind, german BMW w/sidecar, Humvee, and M113?
Cheers
