This is the Esci model of the T55 tank, i still need to paint a few bits on it, attach the tracks, glue the hull together (will probaley need filler), decal, wash and weather it. Please feel free to point out any mistakes or things to make it look better.
Thanks Andy

Looks good so far. You might consider some "plumbing" for the gas tanks. A little copper wire will do fine for this. I can provide reference pics if you're interested.
Is that a gap between the glacis and the hull?

Reference pics would be a godsend if you can supply them for me, thanks.
Yes there is a gap as i haven't mounted it properly or glued it yet. When i dry runned the build there is still a small gap there so it will need filling. I dont know if i built it slightly off or if its the kit

Looking very nice so far. Even with all of its faults, the Esci T-55 was always a fairly nice kit. It looks to me as if you've already corrected one of the most noticeable flaws by enlarging the spaces between the spokes on the roadwheels. As mentoned, the fuel tank plumbing would be a big plus. That said, if you wanted to avoid the work AND eliminate the incorrectly shaped and sized fuel tanks, you could simply leave them off. Of hundreds of T/54/55/62s in Afghanistan near Poly Charki, they are very rare indeed.
