Matt - you have to remember that there are members all over the world, in different time zones, and not all of them even access the site every day!
The models look pretty good to me apart from the stowage already mentioned. There is however a large gap between the upper and lower hulls of the M20 - it looks as if they aren't located properly. If this is the Italeri kit then I had to use a fair amount of glue and masking tape to hold it all in place until it dried.

Matt
A couple things for your consideration. These are nits, as the models are nicely done.
The Sherman track--I'll defer to the on site Sherm experts, but I thought that the tracks on Shermans was generally fairly tight, without much "sag" as shown in the first pic.
The hull machine gun barrell tip--it would look a tad better slightly drilled out, or put a touch of gun metal paint on the barell tip.
The M20 is nicely done, but you might consider the addition of a fig or two to bring it, and the scene alive.
The positioning of the rocks directly in front and back of the M20 give the impression that the M20 was kind of set in between them. In real life, I'm assuming an M20 crew would avoid an area like this if possible. Perhaps repositioning the rocks to indicate more of a path/road way for the M20 would be something that could be experimented with.
Take a close look at some of the decals. The clear decal film stands out slightly on the right front fender, and on the left side hull under the "U" in USA.
The Sherman turret looks great, as does your ground work. The above nits are just that, -- you have the basis for some good models here. Congrats.

Matt,
I think if you want feedback on the things you post, you need to finish the models first. It's very hard to give compliments or criticisms on works still in progress.
You said, "here are my final pics, the next time you see these models they will be completed and on my next diorama".
I'm not sure about others, but when I read "final pics", that seems to indicate it's finished.
I hope you are not offended by my comments, they certainly aren't meant to be such
Joe

The inside of the hatches on the Sherman should not be white or else they will be visible against a dark background when open.
I really like the texture on the Sherman turret

Couple of suggestions on the Sherman:
I would put some sort of strap over the can on the front fender. That rascal would roll right off of there the first time the tank stopped. Also, along the same lines, strap down everything else the is on the front of the tank, the jerry can, rucksack, etc. You might want to weather the spare track as well. The spare road wheel should be bolted to the glasis to keep it from falling off.
I would also lay a bit of a wash on the inside of the open hatches to tone the white down a bit.
Everything is looking good so far.

Hi Matt,
Thanks. When you post on a board and you only have words (and emoticons), it makes it difficult to get your meaning across.
Words can seem harsh when there are no facial expressions or voice inflections to accompany them, so I'm glad I didn't offend you.
Looking forward to seeing the finished product.
Joe

Hi Matt,
I think you have done a good job on the OD colour and weathering.
About the sherman tracks, There shouldn't be any sag on them. US Tannks generally had no sag compared to the Germans and Russians.
