I'm building the Tamiya Sdkfz for the Spahwagen Abteilung campaign and its a little dated but not bad and was wanting to know if there are any update sets for it?? How about replacing the MG34 with a brass one or maybe an interior set or perhaps even wheels? Do you fellas have any recommendations??

I know there are PE update sets from Eduard.
Royal Model does both an interior and an exterior-update set, and has extra wheels. I have not used them but supposedly their stuff is good. But you'll pay for it!!
Unfortunately, their website seems to be down.
Simply put, looking at the kit, as sson as you start adding AM stuff, you'll get into the situation really fast that your AM stuff is more expensive then the kit itself.

If you really want to go for it on this kit ..get the Royal sets ..expensive ..yes ...awesome stuff ..you bet. It will bring you 1970's kit into the new millenium.(not the easiest sets but with some work they look great)

I made one last xmas, i used Eduard PE set, and I scrched build the interior using some pics as a reference, at that time I could not find royal model kits...
The new reedition from tamiya has a aluminium barrel and a small PE for the turret. you only have to add the Eduard PE and a few more complements from the spare box....and you will get a nice, quite cool model.
I painted mine in a 3 tone, as a part of the 4th Panzer div. Recon company in the summer 1944 campaign....
I will post some pics.

Javier,
if their site is working, you can get it directly from them:
www.royalmodel.com" TARGET="_blank"> www.royalmodel.com otherwise Mole plasticmodelbouw should be able to get them for you.
Note: I have no connection to the seller other then being a so far content customer.
