This could be posted just about anywhere, but since I am trying to do a dio with this idea I put it here.
Does anybody make a modern city/transit bus close to 1/35 scale, like 1/32? I was just at a model show and saw a transit bus which had Japanese in the destination window (above the windshield) so I am guessing a Japanese company might have made this kit. My bad luck was the model was built and put on the DISPLAY-only area and so there was no write up about it and the owner was nowhere to be seen all day. It did not seem 1/24 to me and it did not look diecast either.
The reason I am trying to find this out is that I want to do an OIF dio with a bus in it. The Iraqis used lots of buses to ferry troops to the battlefield and this would make a cool and unique dio if I could find such a thing.
I did a search on the web but could not find anything besides toy Greyhound buses.

Bob....
Go to :
http://www.hlj.com/scripts/hljlist.cgi?Scale=32&Category=AutPas&Dis=2
it's the search page for HobbylinkJapan.com......
It's 1/32 scale passenger cars search..... shows up several 1/32 scale buses.
Of course they are Japanese buses, but it's a start, and a little conversion, and you probably could end up with a decent one for your use.

THANK YOU DAVE! I think the first one I came across is the one I saw at the show. Now that I think about it the steering wheel and such are probably on the wrong side, but I MIGHT be able to fix what I need if I make the bus lying on its side or something. ALRIGHT! Now to get it ordered.
