Hey lads. Well as a few of you would realise from this photo, I have bowed to popular convention and relocated my siren mount to the usual position... This has come about by the fact that if I were to complete my Sherman as per my photo reference (which was 6AD, not 4AD) I would need to locate old style plain rubber block tracks, and decided it was too much effort and therefore will make mine a different tank from the 68th Tank Btn
One question. The wire from the siren. Does it pass through a welded hull in the same spot as the cast hull? (Below left headlight) Reference photos have proven hard to come by for welded hulls...

Hi Bradley ...from what I have found the hole for the horn wire is on the outter side of the light brush guard .
