After I made the medal and ribbon for the upcoming Medic campaign, Stormbringer asked me to make a medal for the Mud, Sweat, & Gears campaign. I accepted and started brainstorming. Making this was considerably harder than the medic medals and ribbons. Not hard to make, but harder figuring out what it should look like. After analyzing all the previous campaign ribbons, I ended up with the basic shape from the Project X campaign and literally played around in Photoshop until I had something I liked. I chose to include gears into the final version as it is darn hard to symbolically design mud or sweat. Gears were the obvious choice and sort of look like a device (similar to a V for valor added to a ribbon in real life).
There are a lot of things that could be done better, especially the "M, S, & G." Oh well, given the size, I do not think this is too big of a problem.
As always, questions, comments, concerns, and outright verbal abuse is alway accepted (as long as it is good; just kidding)
