This is my last diorama. I made it for the "Seeing Red" campaign and named it "Hunting". The figures come from Alanger and the GAZ67 comes from Aer Moldova. The kneeling figure was converted in his position and the others remain almost at the same position as shown in producers construction sheet. They are all painted with humbrol enamels and weathered with oils and pastel chalks. The bridge was scratchbuilded using plaster and I've shared the procedure with you in this diorama forum. The telegraph post was made using a pencil and some balsa wood.
Hope you like it!
Waiting for your constructive critics as always.

dEAR Alguhan. T
his is a nice tight lil scene . The nridge u nicely made, found its place neatly
The gaz looks ok in construction , but i only wonder if it could take justa bit of more weathering to spice up. The figures look good, and the only thing i d consider a next time is painting a bit more conrasted faces , to give the light impression some better . U r ground work as far as i can see look ok for what u had to do in there. My favourite point of the scene is the lower part of the bridge tube , where the water flows , and looks very nice.
Congratulations on ur completion and nice to have u here.

hi brother,
Nice foliage, water effect, self made tree trunk, wooden telegraph pole and self made plaster bridge. I see you gathered all your diorama skills in the same dio and it turned a festival for eyes. Alanger figures and Gaz are good painted, I especially liked the figure next to Gaz carrying a pistole...nice combination of colors and nice weathering.
I think a pastel chalk weathering can add more realism to overall.
congrats my bro

Thank you all for your nice comments.
The main idea is to weather the diorama a little bit more, I agree.
Dear Costas, I agree also with your comment about the faces of the figures. A bit more contrasted faces would look better.

Lots of nice little details like the cut wires on the telelphone pole and of course that great bridge you shared with us. The capes are well done and add a nice contrast to the figures.
I hope when you said your last diorama you meant for the campaign and not forever. It would be a pity if it was the last.

Alguhan,You have made an excellent diorama here. I love all the little details. I could sit and look at it for a long time. All the critiques have already been said save one. Ithink youcould show where the wipers have wiped the dust off the windshield. I offer a congrats on a fine job. cheers Kevin

Just a touch more dust is what I agree with also.Bridge, terrain, water, and groundcover are outstanding. Are the troops gaurding the bridge or seaching, or?
Cheers!

Very beautiful dio. The best part for me is the bridge and the groundwork. Absolutely outstanding and to think that the bridge was scratchbuilt. Wow!
What is the exact name of those foliage/vegetation? I have to find it here. So far, I only found lichen...
The vehicle, although it looks nice with the weathering, is a little too clean for me. Maybe a little dust as what the others said? Or paint chips? Or rust?
Wampum, I have a suggestion. What about putting a single German soldier hiding under the bridge or behind the bushes? Do not give the German soldiers any weapons. It will look like the Russians are hunting for him and would very well fit the title. Just a thought.
I like this dio.

Thank you all for your comments.
OK! Let me correct it; MY LATEST DIO...
Thanks Kevin for the encouraging message. The windshield was a problem piece as the other parts od the vehivle. First of all it was not clear and the wipers were not produced I made them scratchbuilding. At the final of the job I loose all my interest adding some details. This model was a disappointment.
Hi Angela, the vegetation was made using natural stuff, including some moss. I add some sort of static grass and bush like stuff from woodland scenincs and noch. But I really don't remember exact what are they called.
This was a very nice idea. While disscusing on our community forum about the steps of this dio, we talked about this idea, too. But it was late, because the bridge and the foliage were done and the last decision has been given about the scene. I'll keep in mind this idea for the next bridge diorama.

Exactly the same I think. This work has been done. The suggestions are kept for the next one.
Next... I'm working on a Pz I Ausf A ambulance version with some figures from the same kit. It will be an urban diorama for the "medic" campaign.

Very nice work. I completed the Tamiyal 1:35th scale GAZ 67B recently too, but I don't have that lovely dio w/ bridge and most realistic and yet artistic setting for it to reside in. Most of the 1:35th figures I do are Russian soldiers and female soldiers so I especially was looking very closely at your lovely work. Congratulations!
Kind regards
