hi kind people,

I would like to try using Testor's Drycote on my armor projects. As I am new to Testors' products, can anybody advise what solvents to use with Drycote, i.e. for thinning it b4 applying? Would appreciate if you could provide the product code of the solvent as well.

Finally, i cant find it locally here and would like to purchase online, any good e-mart to recommend?

Many Thanks and Cheers!

I cut Testors Dull and Gloss Cotes with Lacquer Thinner. You can find it in most hardware or paint stores.

In the last year, however, I've begun to use Polly Scale Flat and like the results much better.

I have used Testor's dullcoat out of a spraycan for 30 years. I've got the laquar in a bottle versin as well and rarely use it....generally only as a touch up when I break a piece off a model and have to reglue it and a glue spot shows up. Problem is, you can't ship sprays over seas so you'll have to find it in a local hobby shop
