Thanks guys!
There's a few inaccuracies with the dio, but I get an idea in my head and I run with it....
When I get some time, I'll try and do a write up about the whole thing. I took a couple of in progress shots, but they turned out like garbage, so when I do the write up, I'll describe everything from start to finish.
The dio took 5 months to do, starting Nov 1/04, and finishing up on Mar 31/05. About half of the time was spent on the house alone. By this point I just wanted it done, I could have added more to it! :-)
Of note, this was the first time I tried the Kancali roads, and a little skeptical at first, the stuff is a dream to work with!

Thanks Prato for the comments!
I wanted to send in alot of pics (Thanks to Bugsy for taking them!) didn't realise after he took them there were so many angles to look from to see all of the little things.
Thanks again,
Kelly

Kelly, you have done a fantastic job on this. I agree that you should have done this as a step by step feature. I think it would have helped a lot of us modelers on here. Excellent work, the building are great as is the amount of rubble and ..well just everything its great!!! Kevin

Pretty good job There Kelly . I like the whole picture of it . Looks like a classic one. Nice work on building and the rubbles, and the vehicles also .

It's amazing what doing a dio of that size does to a person...I felt totally burnt out after finishing it, I didn't want to see plastic for a while, and burnt out for inspiration. Right now I'm working on a Jagpanther, and a Firefly, I have a rough idea for the setting, hopefully I'll get the creative juices going again quick.
Unfortuenately, I see my next one big, but not as elaborate....hoo boy, I'm supposed to be scaling down in size!! :-)
