Karl,
Great build, how did you like the AFV club kit, any problems or things to watch out for?

Cheers for the comments guys.i think i over did it with the washes on this kitty :-) mainly on the zimm as when i applyed the future gloss coat no matter how many coats of testors dull-cote i gave it it still had a glossy look.you can hardly see the numbers 007 on the turret so am going to paint over the decals.
i will post more pics later and try and give some pros and cons on the kit.cheers

Very nice job on the Tiger.. Did the zimmerit actually fit?? Or did you have to adjust it to fit this kit???

Nice one Karl! And really nice seeing you getting right back into the swing of things! In my honest opinion it's a great build, just one small worry, that's the difference between the shade of the Zimmerit covered panels and the rest of the tank, the zimmerit looks very dark? By the way, I was waiting for a bit to see if you were really back into the swing of things, I've waited long enough and I think you've admitted to yourself that your well and truly hooked......so I'm gonna give you your Tiger CD back! I'll contact you off-line to see when I can drop it in, and I wouldn't mind a look at that Tiger when I do? Let me know if there's anything else you need Karl?

Thanks vinnie, dont be silly you can keep the cd .
The reason why the zimm looks darker than the rest is that i could not get rid of the god dam gloss,so i had to apply lots of washes and mig powders to tone the gloss down.dull cote is rubbish :-) :-) .
Cheers mate
