Hi there. I had a post a few days ago asking how to AB using a compressor as I was having some problems. Well.. not anymore! It was a true love story.. the way the paint went on there, building up so softly until I finaly got the desired look. Thanks to Easy_Co for assuring me that the problem wasn't in me.
95bravo.. You're right I'll never go back to using spray paint. Thanks also to Grumpyoldman.
I don't know how anyone can do without one.. even if it's just a cheap one like mine. I have to say though.. A good bright light is vital to actually see the paint hit the model and have good control over what you're doing. Ain't it great when things work out?
I have another question. Any of you use Vallejo Air coulors? I'm using Tamiya right now thinned with alcohol (1:1 ratio) and it works great. Vallejo have a wider variety and I can get them easier than Tamiya.. BUT I tried one before both straight from the bottle and thinned with distilled water, but I got horrible results. The paint was way too runny and looked like big droplets(Both thinned and un-thinned). Any advice on the Vallejo paints.
Thanks again everybody.

Hisham,
If you are using regular Vallejo, it does not airbrush well at all, if you can get Vallejo Air (made specifically for airbrushing) give that a try. I have found that it still needs to be thinned, I use Windex, as it was too thick for my taste. I still do 90% of airbrushing with Tamiya.
Hope this helps.
Regards,
Robert
