Hi,
I am planning (well i have allready started) on building a blast pen for my 1/48 airplanes. It is based on the following feature on hyperscale:
http://www.clubhyper.com/reference/dioramahl_3.htm
I have allready drawn the basic layout on a piece of wood. It is going to be big (60cm by 60cm).
I am not dooing all the buildings, just a small hut.
How would you make the wood effects?
How would you make a small hut?
cheers
Philip

I get it.
If you are talking about the wood affect on the inside of the blast hut next to the AC I would use the straw from a broom and weave it into place around round carved toothpicks or matches.
The hut I would use card stock, heavy thick paper stock. Cut to shape and glue together. You could also use sheet stryene. Some Plastruct products come with texture such as wood clapboards or slats. Check the Rail Road stores they usually carry some of that stuff.
