Uh oh!
I made some more progress, nothing huge but the basic lay out.
The Shermie well be knocked into a lil stream, and this is new but im thinking about adding a 1/35 Storke plane ( German Recond plane) Since the Germans launched a air strike with the Armored Advance.

I pray to god these pictures work :-)

The only problem now is, saving up for all the Verllian kits i gotta buy :-)

You realise that verlinden parts are bigger than DML right? This dio looks like its going to be huge. In my opinion, if you think the verlinden figs are going to be expensive, wait till you get to the groundwork... This is going to be a long process and very expensive.

One other thing to think about is parallelism. IE get rid of it. The JP's moving parallel to the edge is a dio no-no, and the hill is parallel to the edge as well. Turn the base about 25 to 30 degrees and you will be all set. Also try to shrink it down a bit, that's a huge footprint, and you are going to be left with lots of "empty" space.

Thanks John, I havnet glued anything down yet so i can still mess around with it,
My other idea is to make the end part of the diorama like a Hill, a steep downgrade where the jagdpanthers are rolling down.
so i can still mess around with it alot.

Hi Max, Since my only real issue with this has been adressed by Sticky all I have to say so far, It looks to be a huge dio!!!Since I am a fan of these You have my interest peaked. Also the figs look very good as does your armor from what I can see. Please keep us posted, and good luck on a large endevor. There cant be enough "big" dios" Cheers Kevin

Ok - wow - what an undertaking.
Yea - VP and Dragon are slightly different in size - but next time you're at the mall- check to see how many people are different sizes. The bodies aren't the problem - it's the gear. An M1 rifle is an M1 rifle for a 6'2" guy and a 5'1" guy. So position the figures well and equip them the same way or position dissimilar equipment far apart.
The road is too parallel to the base. Camber the road and the hill to the long side of the base. The trees appear to be to symetrical also. Life is random so is a rural diorama.
Question - what's going to the right of the jagds? You could cut down the size a bit by cutting down the space. You could also make the base a non-square shape, angle the edges a bit oposite the angle of the road.
Cut that corner a bit too, it's a bit to 90 degres which makes the whole parallel thing work against you . Make it more open like 110 degress or so.

Don't get me wrong, I like the layout, you don't see to many full columns of AFVs, and you don't see to many multiple jagds either so cudo on that. I think with a little layout work you've got a winner.

Thanks Scott and kevin for your inut.
Scott, what i plan on doing actually is making the whole thing on a large hill kinda like a slope. on the right of the jagdtigers i plan on adding a stream maybe, I got a Greyhound maybe i can put that into some good, Nothing is permantly glued down so i can still switch things around, Also i forgot to add i didnt have enough styro foam so ill be adding couple more things movine things around and what not.

What i plan on doing is adding about 20 or 30 more figres, which is actually alot if you think about it .Right now i only have about 16 done ( not displayed)
Also im really tempted to add a 1/35 Storke or some kind of German airplane. Since Germans did conduct a massive air attack on the americans
Anyones comments are welcomed!
