Hello fellow Ardennes Offensive campaigners. Despite the moving the end date back, I probably won't be done in time. That's OK. I'll still post the final results, I will just need to do it after the fact.

I have had some difficulty locating a suitable backdrop for my diorama and that has me at a stand still. I have been making a display case/quasi-shadow box for the build. That part is complete, except the glass. I can't go further until I find the backdrop. Unfortunately nobody likes to take pictures of early winter landscapes! Now brilliant Autumn and Spring color shots are much easier to find. Summer scenes too. Alpine snow scenes are common too. The worst part is that I need to cover a 12 by 22 inch area. I have been looking into splicing calendar photos and blending them into a painted sky. I am pretty picky about it and have't found anything I like yet.

I am searching and will continue to do so. However, even if I found a backdrop tonight, I still wouldn't get it done in time. Great campaign and many great builds submitted. Happy modeling.
