Jim, you start by admitting to yourself that you're really a closet Axis models fan. Then, when you have really come to terms with this, you must go out, box up all your stash of allied gear, and send them to me. I in return for this, will send you Ernest Franks famous self-help pamphlet "Saving yourself from Boring OD"

Jim , depending on the time of day, coffee, tea or coctails to start. Relax take a deep breath and peruse the box and contents thoroughly. This should take hours in itself and is worth the time. Notice especially the propaganda camera dudes, beautiful. As I've said before if this is going to be the Dragon norm, I'm sold. How can you possibly buy from anyone else with all the extras already in one box, with the exception of maybe one Aber Super set, or an Edouard set, or Royal set , than theres the MMIR Tiger book, than all the Panzer Colors issues, it will never end and you'll finally become a die hard German armor fan. Enjoy the Tiger - Cheyenne

Lol, I already have the MMIR book, i've also got two more 251s on the way, 2 half-built, 1 on pre-order along with the Late Tiger from DML and various additional reference sources on the 251 series. I'm also about to buy a Voyager PE set for the 251 Ausf C.

Axis Armor? No, I can control it..... ...Jim :-)

You get your mail delivered to a bar????????? Must be nice to be able to tell SWMBO that you're going for the mail and then have a couple of cold ones. I'd be ordering mail order ALL the time if that was the case here

I don't know if just buying a few German kits means you have the Axis bug. Even I have a few German kits but my first favorite is still the Sherman.

The explanation for packages gettng left in the bar next door is simple. The mail here doesn't arrive until midday (it's an ancient Charter or something :-) ) So if i'm not in the house at that time, the mailman leaves them in the bar next door.

As for the kit, I lovingly took the sprues out of the plastic bags last night and contemplated them.... Just how many mantlets are there? Seems like a lot...Jim

Hi, Sounds like you pretty well have the bug to me. As CPTKelley says, "Welcome to the Dark Side." It's a fantastic kit! Enjoy!!!! Now, can you build just one?

Take care, Sgirty

No, there are simply one or two projects that I want to get out my system...Since German AFVs were what started me off in the first place, it's like going back to one's modelling roots. I will also have in the next week or two, at least two of the new M4a3s on pre-order as well.

i'm also about to do a Churchill conversion. Personally, I was getting a little 'stale' and unfocussed so the Tiger s a real challenge...Jim
