Hi all campaign fellows,
I started painting my project. I still have some work to do, minor details to add, but the VT72B is complete at 90%.
Please, let me know what are your feeling before I start the weathering. Sorry some pics are a little dark. I'll do better next time, I promise

Howdy Olivier,
Your VT72B is looking great. What scale is that? I don't remember a kit of this vehicle in 1/35th, but then my synapse's aren't what they used to be.
As you say, the pics are a tad dark, but from what I can see she looks fine. If you're looking for nits along with your 'atta boys' then the thing that stands out the most to me is the 'slack' in the crane cabling. I'm not sure if you're using the kit supplied cable or not, but just the sheer weight of the block itself would pull the cables tight. So maybe replace with wire instead of what looks like thin rope.....
Any other comments will wait until you weather.
Keep up the good work!

Just going to echo what Treadhead said (Nice rhyme :-) ) The cables look like thread. I can see the fuzz from it in the last two pics. I know this conversion cost some major $$$. Nice build, what I can see of it. "Q"

Hi,
thank you both, the Big A poets :-)
I know the problem with the cable and I'm not happy with it. I don't really know how to fix it.
Replacing the thread by something more rigid or adding some weight to the hook ?
I'll have to make a choice anyway.

Nylon thread might do the trick as it doesn't have the fuzz. Or you could twist very thin wire together. Good luck. "Q"
