Hi folks, it has been a (long) while, but at last I am getting some time to "think" about modeling
And after a 7-8 months involuntary break I was able to spend 2 hours last week at my workbench, man that felt good
While I was cleaning some parts of my Sherman kit, i started to dream think about a new dio idea
I would try my hand at a box dio featuring a Egyptian treasure room filled with treasure and artifacts
Is there a company who sells this stuff in 1/35?

check out this kit.

It's not truely Eguiptian but it has quite an Eguiptian feel to it. You could modify it a bit and make it more like what you want

Monroe Perdu has some interesting Egyptian items:

As for treasure, you might try looking in second-had stores for old jewelry. Otherwise, you are pretty much down to scratchbuilding, I think.
Good luck!

I don't know of any artifacts in 1/35 scale. What we have an abundance of here are the artifacts which are sold to the tourists, and those ofcourse are too large. Unless you want to use them as statues in front of a temple kind of things. If you're interested in something like that let me know and I can send you stuff like that. Thay're pretty cheap here. But tthen again, the temples are way down south.. far away from any kind of action. Anyway, if anyone is interested let me know. No charge ofcourse.. if it's for a dio!

El Viejo Dragon has a few Egyptian items and Armand Bayardi has a number of colums (Though I don't know if they're properly Egyptian) Sentinale Miniatures has these.

How about this Greek temple? You can find doric columns almost in every archaeological site in Egypt. Alternatively with the proper work you can make them look pretty egyptian

The quality of MP castings is top notch. I run into the guy at any souther California shows I make it to, and he's always got something new and interesting to show. I have the Sphinx and have seen some great pics of it painted up (as well as seeing his display model).

Maybe you could find some interesting stuff in a fantasy/wargaming shop? I'm thinking a dragon's treasure or something
You should have a look in such a shop, you might find something.
