Hi Guys thought I just do a little critique of this new turret I picked up yesterday... Dave Harper has done a really nice job fixing the turret bulge .. The shape finally looks correct for anyone building a late war Sherman..The cast effect on the turret is excellent .There are nice casting marks on the turret and gun shield ...A nice idea is the lifting hooks are molded in place and with a little clean up will look good with no seam to sand. I am a little peived that there is no barrel include in the kit along with all the vision periscopes being molded shut..but what really got me "T"ed off is there is no gunners hatch included in the kit!!! Now I don't have the Italeri kit to steal it off of and I'm not sure if the ones from TMD will even fit this hatch...I think this is really an extra expense that I could have done without.. I guess all in all a nice kit but I'd gladly pay just a bit more so that I could at least build this kit with out having to buy two more aftermarket kits just to build this turret..

I am just wondering if the gunners hatch may just be a missing part on the turret you got Do the instructions say if you have to add one from another donor kit?

All the parts are pictured on the front of the box and there is no barrel or hatch ..Hey I bought two of these turrets They're both the same.

PM me with your address I believe I have some Italeri loaders hatchs layin around not bein used I won't be home for about a week I will look then and PM you back on whether or not I have them for sure

That's very kind of you ...I'll PM you but I also wanted to warn the others before they buy it ...
If anyone out there has an Italeri turret and the TMD hatches ...could you please check and tell me if they fit ... Bryan ?...Roy?....Help!
