I thought I already enlisted. I'll have to fix that. I tend to always have several 1/76 or 1/72 scale kits on hand to build quickly.

Thanks Sabot, wasn't going to push, as you seem to have numerous campaign commitments at the moment.

As I have just bought my first 1/72 scale PE kit (For the P-51), how about some pointers?

Such as;
How does one attach PE to a clear part i.e. a canopy?
Except for carefully that is. :-)

I have not had to deal with PE and an aircraft kit, but I have heard that folks use Future floor wax (actually a clear acrylic) to attach PE parts to clear plastic without fogging the canopy.

I literally have dozens of 1/72 and 1/76 scale kits to chose from in plastic, resin, white metal or a combination of materials.

I would like to give my new Italeri DUKW a try with ExtraTech photo etch set, but don't hold me to that, I may change my mind. Sometime the kit I plan on for one build will fit better into another campaign.

Savage. what parts are they? If they are something like the rearview mirror, you can use future or plain ole Elmers White Glue. If you go the Furture route, let it set up a little and get tacky or else you'll be sitting there holding the part while it dries. Just my .02 worth. "Q"

Thanks guys. It’s just for some mirrors and braces, nothing large.

I’ve just started using Future, Johnson’s Klear over here, and never realised that it had so many uses.

Anyone actually use it as a floor polish?

Sorry guys, been out of the loop for a couple of weeks with finishing up hockey season and getting a new job. Have to sit down and start working on a couple of projects (this and Tank Terror) and finish up the Hobby Craft M1 I started working on for the heck of it several weeks ago. Still working on the idea of the Tiger vs T34, not sure where to go with it yet but will start research and building shortly. This should be a fun project to work on!

I haven't seen this thread before now, but I guess a late post is better than never!

I'll be building PST's KV1 and maybe Trumpeter's 1/144 Karl Morser. If I have time, I may pull out a few more.

Pluggling along on the Academy 6x6 and Revell 1/144th B52. Eric I'll try for a build review of the 6x6 like you mentioned in the other thread. I'am new at posting pictures and stuff so I'll need some hand holding probably....But i can't say enough about this kit. But Iam not a rivit counter either. Fits well looks like photos I've found so...soon
Love this site...love this campaign...this is FUN

I think I'll join this one. I will plan to do a pair of tanks. THis would have been a cool entry for the Nemisis campaign, but I'll build them here. It will be something just a bit different.

I'm gonna build another one of SDV's PzKpfw's 38(t) in 1:87 scale (see my earlier review on one of this kits)
This time a radio version.
As I mentioned in that review there are some things not correct in that 38(t) kit, for instance the placement of the fenders. I'll try to update that!

Ideas welcome!!!!

Want to place it in a little diorama with some 1:87 German Wehrmacht Preisser figures I bought specially for this campaign.
Look very fun to me to paint figures in this little scale. I was supprised by the high level of detail of this Preisser set also. There are some 1:35 manufactors who can take an example from it! :-)
