There's a photo of a Sherman II from the 4th CLY (Co. of London Yeomanry) in France with a hedgerow cutter. I've always assumed that this was an anomaly as the British and its allies fought in the open farming fields surrounding Caen versus the hedgerow thick areas facing the US invasion forces. Can anyone cite other circumstances of hedgerow prongs on non-US tanks?

I know we had a few on our tanks but I need to find my reference though. I have seen pics somewhere.

Roy
Some Cromwells were fitted with Hedgerow devices, in fact I believe that you get one in the tamiya Cromwell kit. In the Chamberlain & Ellis book on British & American tanks of WWII there is a pic of a Centaur fitted with a trial version.
