Just have to attach the barb wire, add some weeds, flowers, etc, make the water for the little pond, weigh down the halftrack by screwing it into the base, add the SS crew and a few minor touch-ups.
Hope you guys like it so far.

Your heki really makes it look good. You should try using the old stuff that doesnt look like grass, youll find out how frustrating groundwork really is. It scared me out of doing bases for 2 dioramas. This diorama looks great so far. Keep us posted!

Thats better than my first diorama, can't see from the picture whether there is tracks from the vehicle, if there isn't then you need to add some. Otherwise very good.

Yep, tracks would be good. Also, maybe some dirt/grass in the treads? Otherwise very impressive. If this is your first effort your future stuff should be outstanding.

Tapper great first effort. I agree with the others you need to add the tracks. I am very curious to see how this one is finished up. Please keep us posted as you add to it. And isnt that heki grass great Cheers Kevin

A great first diorama. I agree with the others about adding tracks. Also, the 251 looks like it needs pressing down into the Heki grass. It may be the picture, or that it is not yet attached, but it sort of looks like it is floating on top of the grass. Which 251 kit is this as you have done a great job on it? Also, what figures and type of barbed wire are you planning on using?

It is hard to say that this is your first diorama. Looks great. I like the base, very simple and clean, presenting the diorama very well. What kind of water stuff are you going to use for that pond? Just a suggestion; it would be great if you add some bushes to break the monotony of a flat surface. Keep us posted. regards
