A couple of new barrels I just received for some upcoming projects, the first is from Aber

3.7cm for Flak 37, comes in three pieces, flash suppressor, barrel and collar. The flash suppressor is especially nice with all the holed drilled and the fluting along the sides machined out

The second is from Model Point

This set comes with two barrels and is designed to replace the kit's coax mg. Very nicely done also with the end of the barrel machined out and very thin.

I purchased the Aber from Hobby Island in Houston at the ASMS show for $13.99 and the Model Point direct from www.modelpoint.us for $4.85. Great service by the way and fast shipping.

Robert

oh Robert! You have to tell me how you make it look so easy! I bought the Aber Flak 38 and am very reluctant to go blow money on a soldering iron just to ruin the barrel. (Armorama needs a crying emoticon) :-)

Hi Alex,
Well I have to say that although I can solder pretty well, this one is not pe, it is machined brass, so the only skill you need is applying ca :-) :-) so save the crying emoticon for something else. All seriousness, I have the barrel you are referring too and this is their new one, not the one you had to roll and solder.

Best Regards,
Robert

I'm using the Aber 3.7cm Flak37 barrel as a coax for my E100. I purchased mine off of eBay though the flash supressor arrived squashed and I'm still awaiting the replacement...anyday now...

The Aber barrel is a very nice piece of kit though!

Out of curisoity, anyone have any idea how Aber makes the flash supressor? Very intricate little brass bit it is...

It's stunning to see that they can affordably produce those MG34 barrels and price them so low.
