I'll have to look it over when it gets out to HobbyTown. Any hints about new Russian or Warsaw Pact infantry to go with it?

Sort of like me getting a Trumpeter 1/32 A10 for $5?
Raffle at the local club.
Now to spend $$$$ on aftermarket!

Dagger,
You can try Hobby-Link Japan, they tend to get things out within days of release in Japan. Where did you see a timeframe for the T-55 from T.?

Coop--I am a big fan of Hobby Link Japan. I ordered the T-55 from them. They are quick and remarkably inexpensive.
Try them, you'll like them.

I never knew that they made a T-55 kit. I found a JSIII kit that they did in the sixties though

I didn't know they did a JSIII that long ago. I like the new one they have out, it is a very nice kit, even though the experts say the back deck was taken off a different type of tank.

Rob--HLJ usually carries all the Tamiya kits. However, I recently tried to order the Tamiya T-34/76 only to be told they were definitely out of production!

When The announcement was made last month or so about it coming out, I thought taht some one here had mentioned about it coming out in November. AND I...... " THINK" My local shop had told me that it would be available then...So I will call them and check on it later today. MEANWHILE... I have FINALLY completed the Tiger-1 and the STUG-IV project. Hope to post pictures of them sometime this week.. Starting on the Italeri M-60 kit. And will hopefully have it done in a week or two.. After that I will be working on the replacement model for the Challenger -1 kit. as the aging HMR Serb Slayer has been De-Mobilzed and will be replaced by the Challenger-1 Mk-3 kit. to be followed by the West German Leo-2A5.
And then the M-26 pershing kit. So I still have lots to do.

Looks like you got lucky then DJ. The Tamiya T-34 series (even the newest reissues) are among the worst T-34s on the market. Try the DML kit or the Italeri (reboxed Zvezda) T-34s. Much better overall shape. I already have their latest JSIII kit, I just didn't know they had made a JSIII way back in the 1960s. Of course, I don't think I ever saw a Tamiya kit until the late 70s (1978-79).

Rob---thanks for the advice. I will shop around and grab one one of them. Have you now completed the course at Fort Lee?
