What were the chancers of a panzer II luchs and Stug III being seen together.Just that i want to put 2 Tanks in my dio and the luchs is the ideal size to take up the space i have left.cheers

I am not sure at all, but Normandy could already be a possibility the Luchs was given to the armored divisions, and the Stug III was quite common (though it might depend a bit o the version). I have a pic of a 9th Panzer Luchs in one of my referece books, and the vehicle itself served on both the Eastern and the Western fronts.

So my guess is that there is a reasonable chance.

Stug abt 904 was attached to 4th panzer division through most of 1944. PzAA 4 with 4th panzer had a company of Luchs.

There were a couple times in 1944 when the Stug Abt 904 and PzAA 4 were both in the same kampfgruppe, so for sure they'd have been in the same place at the same time - I'd place them north east of Warsaw in August 1944.
