Holy freaking cow! I bought the AFV Club Late model awhile back and it had a few goodies in it. I got my Dragon kit today in the mail from Greatmodels (2 days is all it took to get here!) Dragon is far and above with the extras. They even include a jig for help in bending some of the various PE pieces and another to assist in the forming of the tracks around the sprockets and idler wheels. Dragon is also on the ball with the packagingl. All the little extras are right on top attached to their own little backing. Nice and neat. I know somebody has already cracked into one of these, but I just had to share my new addition. I'm very, very pleased with what my $$ bought me. Now I just need to find some time to build the damn thing! :-) :-) "Q"

Woah awsome, looks like dragon is now the premier model manufacturer out there. I've certainly been pleased with most of their kits.

I just got one of the Dragon Tiger I kits myself today. When they first came out, I only got a few in stock, and they sold out on the 1st day. I have had them on backorder ever since, and just got a restock today
Originally, I was skeptical on getting "yet another "Tiger I kit. I have all the Tamiya 1/35th Tiger I kits, and have been very satisfied with those.
Then at one of the last Nordland AMPS meetings, one of the guys had the Dragon Tiger I kit. I was amazed ! So I knew I had to have one for myself
It arrived today, and I'm about to crack the seal. A great way to end a Friday afternoon, and its been a long week
Time to open up a nice cold beer, and open this baby up !!
Cheers, gents !!!

I cracked mine open for a brief look. I have to go to work now so it will have to wait until a little later for a more detailed look. I got a buddy who is going to die when he gets a peak inside of the box. Loves the Tiger. "Q"

Good to hear you like your Tigers. I got mine from the Finnish model expo last month. As I guessed, all of the new tigers sold out.
I have opened the box and checked the parts. Looks fantastic! Those two sets of tools with and without tie-downs are a clever touch. One thing I can't figure out, is why are the camera crew figures molded in the sightly flexible "ds 100" (or something like that...) plastic. If there were drivers which must be fitted to tight space, it would have been sensible. But these are supposed to film and photograph the big cat, not site inside it! Good old styrene would have been just fine for me.
One thing that puzzled me was the absence of photo-etched engine grills. There are three different PE plates for the front fenders, but no grills. Or were engine grills fitted to later versions?
One more question. Some people here have already built their tiger. So, how are the track jigs, how does the curved section fit on the drive sprocket? Did you let the section dry, then fitted. Or did you fit the tracks semi-cured?
