Hi all
I use Model Master Enamels to paint with and I'm wondering which paint is best for WWII olive Drab. The Fs 34087 Olive Drab or the ANA 613 olive Drab?
also what color is closest to the german red/brown color found on their vehicles
Thanks
Delbert

You've got to remember that the red/brown color came as a paste that had to be thinned with gasoline, diesel, water, or whatever. Its exact hue varies. OD green also varies based on lot number, where the vehicle was painted, type of weather the vehicle was used in, etc.
Best guess is to just eyeball it.

Just an add-on to Gen. Sabot's comments. Unless olive drab on different Allied vehicles was applied from the same batch of paint at the same time, the shades resulting from it's oxidation would vary as much as the red brown and olive green applied on German armor. Vary the version of olive drab used on different vehicles in a diorama to show this
