I was wondering what types IRAQ had and were they used in OIF even when there was little if any fighting there was. They must have been used in ODS but were any used to invade kuawti.
OR if they were all abadended with everything else. And destroyed when a US and parties when they were seen. I want to do a dio with a tamiya ( M2, M1, Humvee ) and a BTR but I am not sure of what they had.

Don't think Iraq had ANY BTR-80. As for new ones You mentioned - these most probably are Guardians or BTR-94 (Ukraine upgraded BTR-80 a with pair heavy guns). These were a gift from Jordan to a new National guard of Iraq. Alexey.

Janwillem is correct. I have been there for OIF and Gulf War, and the BTR-60 is the only one I ever saw. Obviously I would try to get hold of some vets to get photots since digital cameras were everywhere. Hell some of the FOBs had captured Iraqi vehicles parked on them. One truck I personnally helped capture became a utility vehicle on our FOB.

I agree, photo's would be most usefull. And if the Iraqi's have the BTR-80 Guardian, that would be even better news as then the type is in more use than previously known.
