Looking good. Was it a pain to build? (:-)

Cool piece you got there Steve!
Looks like it went through a lot of wet, muddy, dirty action in the field... :-)
Are you going to display it on a simple base or maybe as a part of a diorama?

Sgtreef,

The ICM Luchs is real easy to build, you can build it out of the box but I added Eduard PE parts to it.

Envar,

I am planning to put it on a small diorama, do you have any idea?

The tank looks great, I bought the ICM kit afew months ago but before I started on it I found the Luchs Mirage kit on the internet. When it came it already had the PE with it so I built it first. Between the two kits there wasn't much difference except you could build two types in the Mirage. And the radio and driver hatches can be left open. I wanted to leave it fairly clean so I mounted mine on a small board and made a muddy field with celluclay so to have that just rained look. Not to blow my own horn but this took Best of Show at the Hobbytown contest here in Lincoln Ne. last weekend.

Hi mkctanker,

I am wondering if you have any pictures of the Mirage Luchs to share with us?

At this time the kit is on display at Hobbytown but I will try to get some pictures of it. My ability to put these on the site is alittle scary as I am just a novice on the computer. I looked briefly at how to do it but if any one has any tips I would be thankful for their time.

mkctanker,

I think you can try uploading the pictures to the msn groups, like mine.

I spoke to the store last night, they took pictures of all the entries. They said they would try to get me copies by friday. I'm still not sure how to send these so I asked my 16 year old son to help. Sad isn't it? So maybe by this weekend I can get these up and going.

Nice work, do you think the PE parts is a must for this model?
Keep up the good work

Great job! I have this kit sitting at home with the PE, Friulmodel tracks & sprockets, replacement gun barrel, & a great little resin update set from Jaguar. I can hardly wait to get started after seeing your beauty!
