what colors are sheridans nato camouflage and winter camouflage. i cant find any clear photo.

By the time the US adopted the NATO 3-color camouflage pattern, the Sheridan existed only with the 82nd Airborne Division (no winter camo used in the deep South) and US agressor forces (OPFOR) at places like the NTC at Ft. Irwin, CA (no winter camo used in the Mojave Desert).

Speaking of the Sheridan, any word yet on a release date for the new Academy kit?

It's been out in Korea and someone on eBay's been selling them quite frequently.

The Academy Sheridan has been out for some time now and being sold in Hong Kong by both hobbyeasy.com and luckymodel.com.

I can't find anyone in North America selling it. If someone knows a place please post it.

Ive seen it at Keiths hobby Shop in Toronto.These guy's have been around for a long time and can pretty much get anything you want.Their email is www.keithshobbyshop.com.
I not sure what the exchange is at right now,but it's $30.00 Canadian.

I've only seen the box art but it looks like it is production version rather than the test version Tamiya put out. I was able to scratch my old Tamiya into a decent "Nam version whcih is what the Academy kit looks like. Don't think it's made it's way over here yet.

Hmm is Keith's the place that was on Yonge Street way up north of the 401?

*edit nm I looked at the web site and it is I remember finding this place on a business trip to Toronto in the late 80s and spending hours in there during my week long trips.

Burnaby Hobbies in Burnaby B.C.(just next to Vancouver) has it.I saw it on the shelf today.I didn't look at the price.

Greatmodels.com has it as a pre-ordering item. It will probably come out in June.

I've checked Squadron and Greatmodels and GM is the only one I have found that is at least showing it as a future release.,and is taking pre-orders. Mine is ordered. "Q"

You just need to get to cross the road after leaving the station.
