Hi guys,
I built this early variant of the Jagdpanther with zimmerit using the initial Dragon Late Jagdpanther kit (Die-cast). As everybody knows, Dragon came out recently with their "Promodel" Jagdpanther with Zimmerit. If I only waited for this later kit, I would not have strained putting on my custom zimmerit. My only consolation is that I think the custom zimm looks better than the "promodel" kit.
Mods made to backdate the kit were:
Removed the extraneous pilzen on the turret roof with my Dremel tool.
Removed exhaust ports near engine access cover.
Added engine exhaust grilles
Here are my pics:

Hope you enjoy the pics! Again, comments are welcome.
Best ,

Hi, A super job on a nice kit. My compliments to you. The detail painting on the tools and such in this small of a scale sure makes it look good.
Thanks for sharing, take care, Sgirty

Very nicely done, especially for braille scale. I agree, your zim does look better than the Dragon 'store-bought'

Nice work and I really think you nailed the zimmerit. Very inspiring and a good example of how good these small scale kits can look.
