Ive been to several armor museums across the States in the past couple of years and have come across several US tanks that I was not familiar with. Was wondering if anyone could suggest some good reference books that might shed some light on these more obscure tanks in US Army service (whether actually used in service or not). I have the Hunnicutt book on the Patton Tanks which has some that I have not seen (such as the T54 series and the T77s) but how about some others such as the ones in the photo's below (I believe the first vehicle is a T29 and the second is a T43 - maybe) - have also heard of but not seen an M103?
Thanks

The first tank is the T29 and is a heavy version of the M26 Pershing. It had a 105mm main gun. The big bulges on the side was an early prototype of the coincidence rangefinder that was used on US tanks through the M60A1.
The second tank is the M103. It actually was fielded to the Army and Marines. It is an enlarged M48 Patton and shared many components. It had a 120mm gun.
