Here's an in progress pic of my m34. She's now up for a coat of matt varnish, then dusting. Canvas roof is't finished and even glued in place yet. The question regards repainted stars on doors: which of the repaint styles will be correct for vietnam era truck? Plain OD green or black? Comments and suggestions are most welcome
Looking good Pedro. I would opt for no star on the door and as Gino stated the stars were white in Nam. The other thing is the canvas tops color. The ones i remember were a faded OD green or dark green. I don't remember any in a brown color that you show.
You have done this old kit a lot of justice. I don't think I have ever seen a nicer example from the kit. Bravo. Looking forward to seeing it finished.

I'm with the rest of the guys here too Pedro - the National Insignia was painted out on convoy escort vehicles because of the tempting targets they provided the VC - but - a general cargo service truck would more often still have the big white stars displayed than subdued or painted over.
I'm not sure which setting you're modeling your M34 in.
