This is the sherman Iam going to build http://us.st2.yimg.com/store1.yimg.com/I/internethobbies_1842_108420382 and this what I all ready know about the tank. With approximately 50,000 units produced during WWII, the U.S. Army's series of M4 Sherman tanks were one of the driving forces behind Allied victory. Designed for efficient mass production and including room for future modifications, the M4 series boasted superior ground performance with excellent reliability. Amongst the many variants produced, the early production M4 featured an angular shaped welded hull, a cast turret loaded with a 75mm M3 cannon and a 350hp air-cooled gasoline engine. The M4 Sherman saw action in North Africa and throughout Europe, including serving in the Normandy and Italian campaigns. If you have any other information please write down

Lionroar does a really nice photo etched set that also includes a turned brass barrel. Very inexpensive, you can find them on eBay for around $10. The best thing about the set is that it is not a "crazy" set like the ones for 1/35 scale armor.

The set includes the 75mm barrel, right and left headlight guards, right and left taillight guards, grouser compartment vents, and an extensive set of .50 cal machine gun detailing parts.

Just enough to dress up the kit without trying to replace every little piece with photo etch.
