Hi guys

I was just checking my e-mail this morning, and I got somthing I thought I should relay to the folks here. Internet Hobbies is taking pre-orders for Dragon's new 1/35th scale M4A3 [76mm] Sherman. The kit comes with a whole list of goodies, not the least of which are:
An aluminum 76mm barrel
2 types of brass rounds
A 5 man crew, plus 4 infantry figures in winter overcoats.
and a lots of other cool stuff.
The best news of all is the price. $31.99. Thats almost ten bucks cheaper than the antiques that Tamiya has been offering since the dark ages. I'm thinking about ordering two. Just thought I would give you guys a heads up.

Yes, I got the same mail and immediatly filled out the order form and clicked the check-out button.

Almost fell off my chair when the shipping costs of $ 36.00 was added to the retail prise of $ 31.00

Needless to say, I then clicked the cancel button

Did you say $36 dollars for shipping and handling alone ? Thats just wrong ! I'm sorry man I did not see that when I read the mail. If I had I would have never made this post. There is no way it can cost that much to ship a box the size and wieght of a model box anywhere. Hell, NASA could put the thing into space for less money. I'm sorry for going off like this. I really thought I was giving folks a heads up on a good deal. Just goes to show......
