Here's my entry for the campaign. I call this one "Good God, look at that!" I took the title from a line in the film "Patton," plus it's probably what most of the other men in the scene said when they saw General Patton directing traffic. It shows General Patton clearing up a traffic jam involving Combat Command B of the 4th Armored Division as it marched towards Bastogne.
Here are some pics:
If you like what you see, there are more photos in my galllery.

That's a fantastic looking diorama and really brings the scene to life. Love the mix of vehicles and plenty of GIs. Winter effects are really well done. Ya done our State proud.

This is really good. The mud, the small remnants of snow on a sunny winter day, the truck load of GIs. Couldn't be better. Well done.

Well done-
you've managed to make the scene look realistically wet.

That's a good one. Get a closer picture of the truck passengers.

Wow! That's a beautiful dio. i like the "busy-but-simple" compsition of it. Your snow is fabulous.
Your dio is kinda shiny. Are you depicting wet weather? If not, I think it would be good if you treat it with a spraying of Dullcoat.
Other than that, it's very nice.

Excellent dio, great idea well executed..
The texture and shine of the mud is great, as is the snow. The bright sunlight really sets the scene, and whilst this kind of lighting for photo's should normally be avoided, in this case it really brings out the texture and feel of the groundwork.
I think that it's only one or two of the figures that might need a touch of dull coat, like the MP walking towards Patton. Otherwise, leave well alone
Great job
Cheers
Henk

Great dio. I like the snow and mud contrast and I absolutely love the orange air-reccon fabric on the Sherman.

Many thanks for all the great comments!
As for the shinyness of the dio, the road is supposed to be muddy and wet, so I figured there should be a wetness/shine to it. The same goes for the snow, but to a lesser degree.
I didn't plan on taking pics of it in bright sunshine, but the clouds parted while I was outside and threw off my plans to take advantage of a cloudy but dry day. Some of the pics were taken inside, so those are noticibly less bright. I don't know why some of the figs turned out slightly glossy, since I dullcoated the heck out of all the vehicles and figures. Oh well.
I'm glad everyone seems to like what they see.

Nice. this is a cool diorama. Composition is great - I love the multiple vehicles in it. Lots of figures, and you don't usually see 21/2 full of GI's. Nice nice nice
Be very proud of this work, may I offer some small suggestions for the next build. In the heavy mud of the Bulge there would be a bit more all over the tire and tracks. Same thing on the boots of the couple of guys on the ground.
