Keeping it light under pressure.
I was just being silly I hope you're not offended. Its sure a beautiful piece. It really conveys the pressure they must have been under which is exactly when something like what I did would come out to relieve that pressure. At least that's the way it was on the team that I was on. We never let gloom and doom get the best of us. It remained positive until the game was over either by capture or victory. The only problem is, I can't forsee how you'd convey that to the viewers without words in this particular scene.

TOKE, I can give you another couple of idea ideas that I hope will help you: "Long Live the Red Devils" or "Near the Endless Road". Or even one I've just remebered now "Like Cornered Mice"!
Hoping I have helped you in some way!
Cheers and happy modeling!

Thank you all once again!
Henk.
In my mind the setting is the outbreak attempt to reach Oosterbek and now theyre cornered on the first or second floor of a privat building. At least they know the Jerries is down below perhaps above?
Hollywood would have stated "The true store" where Im more humble and say "loosly based on real events with some artistic licence". The building is more or less done. Ill soon put on the primer.
Easyoff!
That was really funny :-)
By the way, were do you live?
Nah just kidding.
And once again thanks for all the nice comments.
Jepp, Erik!

"Digbys dash"?
"-Jerrys in the house!"?

Before I write down my twisted idea for a title, I must say something else first.
I'm really impressed with this diorama. I love to model scenes from the "Battle for Arnhem", but this one is excellent...a very good composition and most excellent detailing while scratchbuilding.... I want to see more of this Toke !!
Perhaps I can persuade you to write an article about it some day. I really would love to have that on our site.
Now about the title... I was thinking something like "C'mon...One Last Whoa Mahommed Guys..."
Whoa Mahommed (or Whoa Mohammed) was the battlecry of the British Paratroopers from the 2nd Battalion that fought at the Bridge. Each time they had to attack in a man to man situation, they cried "Whoa Mahommed"... Their bloody, dirty appearance and their battle cries scared the living daylights out of the Germans.
Just my two cents.
And don't forget to present us more pics from this excellent work !!

For an Arnhem diorama, that might be changed to "stairway to hell"...

Thanks for all the suggestions.
Problem is that Ive gotten more uncertain about the title cause of the many good suggestions.
Ill have to think it over some more.
By the way Danny?
Shouldnt it be; Mohammed or was it really Mahommed?
What you guys think about:
House disturbance complaint(call). ?
Thanks

Ive used this set from Cromwell Models.
Quoted Text
The figures are from the Cromwell Models set and honestly they need a lot of care. Heads are from Hornet and Resicast. Hands are a mix of sculpt and Hornet hands. Ive also added rifleslings, chinstraps using lead foil and Aber buckels. Rest of the equipment are Tamiya with some exception from Dragon. The radia is detailed from the pictures of the radio. Left to do is the eagles on the berades and insignina of the major, radio-operator and the man to the right in the back. Some of the fellows also needs shoelaces.

Toke,
it's a question that comes up each time. I asked different people and it appears to be "Whao Hahommed" in Arab and "Whoa Mohammed" in the western world, so it's used both ways actually.

I like this one, but what about "A Tight Spot", which reflects the soldiers' difficult combat situation and the "tight" pose of the figures in the dio?

Since the guy with the umberella is the "quirk" and obviously needing a British stiff upperlip type title how about:
German reign stops play,
or
The British umberella failed to stop the German reign.
Cheers
Robbo.
P.S. Let us now what you pick for the title and keep us updated.
