Hi,
As of this writing I am working on the AFV Club Tiger I late. I am attempting to put the turret together, and I do mean attempting. The way it is molded, does make it very difficult to put it together. I have found 2 reasons for this: 1. the plastic is way to soft and the parts warp easily. 2. none of the parts fit together very well, especially the top of the turret because the channel that it is supposed to fit into is way too shallow or......the roof of said turret is too thick.
I am very dissapointed in this kit so far. After working on the Sdkfz 251/1D and the SdKfz 11, I thought that AFV Club had come up with another winner. Now, I see that I have a lot of work to do. And, wait for Dragon's Tiger I late.
Please, to save yourself aggravation and ticking yourself off, pass on this kit and get Dragon's.
Chris- a dissapointed Tiger tank fan

Hi Chris,
Sorry to hear you are having so much trouble, I think though that the fit problem you are talking about is not really a problem at all. The turret roof actually sits a bit higher than the turret sides creating a lip or step. If this isn't what you a referring to sorry, and go build the Dragon kit :-)
Regards,
Robert

Thanks guys,
I must admit that I am embarrassed, I usually research stuff better than that. I will make sure next time. My apologies about the roof, must have gotten a bad kit or something.

Chris,
No problems, I wasn't sure if that was what you were talking about or not. I recently had a problem with my AFV club 251 and it was definitely there mistake. Good luck with the build.

Robert
