Ok, been wanting a 2S1 for a long time now and found a link in the vendors forum over at Missing link for HobbyTerra. They had good prices and they also had the new BMD. So I took the plunge and ordered. Ordered on 9/15/02, shipped on 9/18/02 and it arrived on 9/30/02. The kits came in a small box. They had removed the trees and folded the boxes to save space. I'll post pictures of the kits later. Oh, total cost $44.00

Seen that 2S1 at Ft Sill awhile back not bad looking. Wide son of a buck for its size. Took about 15 photos of it sent to Jim but he said would crash the system if he put them up. BIG PHOTOS. So if you want some let me know. 5 per email.

Thanks for the info. I've been wanting one of those BMD's but wasn't too sure about ordering overseas. Now I think I'll get one.

If you want accessory parts for the 2S1, check out Great Models - they've got Eduard PE, a couple different barrels, and Elefant tracks. You can make the price of the kit seem like a mere drop in the bucket
