Hi ,
I am currently building a Tasca PZKPFW II AUSF L
LUCHS and want to know which tracks I should purchase for it,
the WWII Productions set or the Fruilmodel set.
Any recommendations would be helpfull
Thanks
George

I would have thought that the tracks provided with the kit would have been sufficiently good or am I missing something here? ...Jim

Hi George ...The ones from WWII Production were specifically made for this kit so I would go with these if I were you ...A little more expensive and a bit more clean up but so cool to put together and no ugly pin to hide.

Hi Jim,
I am just not crazy about the rubber tracks provided with the kit, I like the way the WWII and Fruil tracks
hang and fit. That's just my preference,
I have seen finished models with the rubber tracks that look pretty good, but again I like the others better
Thanks Richard,
I was leaning towards the WWII tracks.
Thanks again

The Fruilmodel set won't fit the kit sprockets. The WWII productions set are nice...but with WWII Productions tracks, workable is a relative term.

The ModelKasten tracks are a perfect fit...noticably nicer than the both the others - they are the two-pin type modelkasten tracks (the kind you assemble with a supplied jig), so are a bit on the tedious side, but Luchs has relatively few (compared to a Pz IV) track links, so it's not so bad. In the States, MK tracks are lots less expensive as well.

Here are a few pics of the WWII productions tracks I am using for my Luchs. They are very nice and very delicate. I will use the modelkasten next time as I like fiddling with them. Just my preference, the kit tracks are not bad, a couple of knock out marks, but nothing major.

Robert
