We have posted some pics of Tristar's kit in progress:

The orange colour of the plastic will not be a feature of the production kit we believe, and the Fruil tracks were used only for convenience

Is that all OOB (apart from the tracks)? Including the bolt and rivet detail? Looks impressive. Any interior detail included? Gun breech?
How wel is the cuppola detailed on the inside?
Are those the wheels with separate tyres, and the 'working' suspension?

Sorry to fire the questions, but I would like to know what it's like before I order one, well, I'll be ordering one anyway, but I still want to know... :-)

Cheers
Henk

Its from the box apart from some ABER clasps and clamps - these are in the kit but I chose to replace them. The cupola has separate visors but no interior. Those are the working suspension wheels with separate tires. Kit includes breech, breech guard, shell basket, turret basket and turret seating.

Dave

this is the turret basket

Looking great so far What type of tracks come with the kit? How is the fit of the parts?

Thanks AFV-Modeler, unfortunatly I can't see the last pic's (red x's again). But I assume that the inside details is to the same standard as the rest. Great, now to find me one of these..

Thanks for the heads up

Hi, Thanks for posting those pictures, they are very good and show just what a nice kit this is going to be.
There's nothing like a set of those Fruil tracks to REALLY make a model stand out is there.

Take care, Sgirty

Fantastic looking, I am very anxious to see this kit in person as I am sure others are too. Tristar has really made a lot of Axis modelers happy with the realease of this kit. I know that DML has also announced the pz IV, and I will probably buy that one also, however Tristar will be my first build as I was pretty impressed with the pz I (except for some small fit problems) it was a gorgeous kit. Anyway thanks for posting these pics great way to start the day.
Regards,
Robert
