Looks like the Chevy CMP or a Bedford truck, without the bed on it. I'm not a WWII softskin guy, but that is what it looks like to me.

Definitely a CMP (Canadian Military Pattern) truck with a No13 cab. It appears to be a 108" wheelbase chassis as used on the 15cwt truck and the gun tractor. This one looks as if it has been modified to tow a trailer? I don't know if there was a 'standard' variant like this though.
The radiator badge is missing, so I can't tell if this was a Chevrolet or Ford engined truck.

Thanks,

Here 2 pics coming from the Bart Vanderveen book the Observer Fightong Vehicles Directory (ed 1939)

I think that is a T version due to the weehlbase.
Apparently its a common truck (3000pices built), but I never see one in picture (without my forgotten book)

Nice Pascal, so it was a standard truck - another variant that I don't have in my model collection!
The 'S' version alluded to in the top pic would probably have been a 134" wheelbase as opposed to the 158" of the 'L' version. The 115" wheelbase seems to be unique to the 'T' version shown in your second pic. I Just love these trucks - just not enough Italeri kits to go around for all the conversions I wanna do - include this 'T' version now!

Appology - my original post was wrong - the GT and 15cwt versions are of course a 101" wheelbase and not 108" as I stated.

Thanks again for the pics mate - I've saved them to my reference file.

You guys amaze me. I've always thought that this was "the" place for military truck information.
