SCALEHOBBY.COM is taking pre orders for DML's Late Tiger. Their site says it will be available on June 30. First I've heard, but I went and ordered one anyway! Price is 34.95.

Now that is interesting news - i've been constantly scanning both DML's webpage and Dragon USA to see if there is any sign of it...Jim

Interesting indeed, but Greatmodels has had the late on pre-order for at least a month or so now, and as Jim said, there is still no mention of this on the Dragon website. But hey, they sprang the 88 on us pretty quickly and it was very much a surprise. This won't be a surprise but hopefully it will be here sooner than later.

Cheers,
Mike

Maybe they know something, maybe they are just hoping. Either way, I put in my reservation for one.

A buddy of mine actually just got one recently, but I have no idea how he could have gotten it state side. he's left it in the shrink wrap and refuses to open it up just yet and I have no idea why. I really want to see it! It makes me wanna him or something....he's just been all weird about it..... I'll try to find out how he got it, but I've been pretty persistant and still nothing...

Well, I have a couple of theories. Neither of them is particularly flattering.... Have YOU actually seen it?

Since there is no indication as to release date and the best source for dumb rumours is frequently the net, just let me say quite categorically that as several of us are in DIRECT contact with DML, there is NO indication yet of release date. I am also a bit 'wary' of the pre-order thing. Two examples spring to mind, AFV Club's M40 and Ampersand's Stug book ...

Frankly I can't understand the anxiety that news of a future release brings. If DML were like Academy and releasing 1-2 new kits a year, perhaps it would be understandable, the fact is, that DML are releasing kits in an absolute 'flood' so i see little reason for the panic....Jim
