What are some of the post-WWII British softskin/cargo/transport vehicles? Which ones are represented in 1:35 kits (resin or plastic)?

Just had a quick look, and the only ones I can find are a Scammell Commander by Accurate Armour , and there is a Bedford MK in the 'Firing Line' catalogue

I am aware of the tank transporter from Accurate Armour. Almost won one on ebay. Buying direct is too expensive at this time. I wonder why there is so little available on this subject.

it depends what time period you are looking for, and what type of vehicle. eg light vehicles, GS trucks, tank transporters etc.

there are a few out there but it depends what you want

do you have a particular scene or dio in mind?

regards

I am currently working on the US M923 A1 'Big Foot' cargo truck. I am just wondering what is available as British equivalent. Mainly fuel, cargo and GS transport.

then what you need is the famous bedford!

as dave say firing line make one in resin, and from what ive seen of their models it will be top notch!

the 'four tonner' has been anywhere the British army has for the past 4 decades.

one point to note, the version depicted in the kit is not suitable for an iraq setting-no MK's are used on op telic.

hope this helps

joe
