what is the right color for the interior of a m-10 and m36 tank destroyer.

Inside the turret OD, inside the hull White.

Those would also be the correct colors for a M-18, just in case you were wondering.

I have always been given to believe that the floor under the turret was painted od as well, but ... opinions differ!

I'm told that the reason tanks are painted white inside is to make the atmosphere less oppressive for the crew by creating a brighter environment.

Just though I'd mention it.

Hi Phil:
I'm not sure that the emotional condition of the tank crews was taken into effect ; )

The lighter colors allowed the muted illumination to be enhanced when a tank was "buttoned up". The British used silver enamel paint, the Germans had the ivory colored paint. Other examples too.

could i use vallejo white from their model air colors for the interior hull.
