Here a few shots of the Hotel Dieppe and the progress with the interior. I am greatly indebted to Paul Rains (Nato308) for some very incredible research and printing of the artwork that I have included as Nazi loot, as well as picture in the process of being framed, French advertising, and many other miscellaneous printed items. His collaboration and inspiration has been greatly appreciated.
The door leads to a ladder that provides access to the roof.
On the roof is the beginning of an Anti-aircraft MG post.
The middle for is the start of the garrison HQ
The desk includes a phone, desk pad, and family portrait . The map on the table, portrait, and the picture on the wall are all some of the wonderful printed matter from Paul.
Any comments or suggestions are greatly appreciated.
Jay

Nice update. This is really coming along.
One thing I noticed was the floor edge on the 1st and 2nd photo are wood in color and the other edges are black. I'd make them consistant. The loot looks to 'staged' I'd lean them up against the bed. If I were to carry them into the room and put them down I would probably put them on the bed, then to show them off to someone walking in the room I'd slide them to the floor at the edge of the bed.

Thank you John.
Scott,
Good eye, all the edges are black but that one and I am rather embarrassed to say that I failed to even notice :-) I appreciate the comment regarding the art, since the idea developed after the basic room was completed so positioning could use some work. Thanks
Jay

Please allow me to use the word Awesome....
Excellent building !!
I especially love the roof and the things on top of the building.... that "hotel sign" really makes it stand out.

Jay, outstanding work, for me that would be a carton of cigs and 2 bottles of Rum. Just kidding. Very well planned build, beautiful structure work on the buildings.
May I ask you if you agonized over the buildings and if you are a nutcase perfectionist like myself ? I find myself pissed if 90 degrees or a 45 isn't cut exactly. Your buildings are extraordinary and you must do more.
I'm not nay-saying facades in a dio but in a town or city type dio that hasn't been bombed or gutted, lets face it, complete or 3 sided buildings with interiors are Julie Neumars t*ts [ Cat Woman, on 60's t.v. Batman ] Good Lord I gotta heal up and go back to work. Modeling, drinking and surfing Armorama is morfing me.
Any way, thats why Carlos is my Dr. Frankenstien, your surely in his class and I hope to see more of your work. - Cheyenne
