i am looking to buy an airbrush soon and there re pretty good deals on the paasche brushes, such as the H model and the double action VL

i was wondering if u could tell me about ur experiences with both brushes and which one u would recomment most...

i want to be able to make camo pattern on quite small models..

I have both, though the H is more or less retired and the VL semi retired. I'd go withthe VL as it's double actio. With the H, you have to adjust the flow by opening the nozzle with the hand not holding the brush, fine if you're working a large, stationary surface, but in our applications, we're usually holding the item we're painting. Both are fine brushes, but the VL is a better item, kind of like comparing a Civic and an Accord, whichever way you go, you'll be happy.

If it is going to be your first, I would go with the H to learn on. I have both also the H is way easier to clean.

Just a thought.

I have the VL. Works great thru about 60 airplane models now. The only grip i have is the plastic handle threads can be easily ruined if not carefull, Mine no longer has the handle as it split
