Here is the finished ACES 2 ejection seat alongside a US penny.

The kit is a Block 50 out of Spangdahlem that I am building for a coworker who had been stationed there. She is an F-16 flightline avionics troop, while I work F-16 backshop avionics (AIS). My connection with the kit for this campaign is having been stationed at the Depot Avionics facility at Hill AFB I worked all F-16s from early Block 5s (experimental and Foreign Military Sales) to the orange wired prototypes from Edwards AFB. As a matter of fact--the small, grey box above the ejection seat's oxygen bottle is the Seat Data Recorder, one of the many LRUs I would test, troubleshoot and repair. Ah the memories.
