I am declaring the model done for the Victory Europa Campaign. I will cut the trim pieces later.
My dio depicts Americans liberating a French town. The grateful French citizens have painted slogans all over the sides of the tank. Note the name "Beebe" on the left rear of the hull to honor our fallen Armorama buddy Gary Beebe.
The Sherman is the Dragon M4A1 Early. The civilians came from Preiser. The US soldiers are Tamiya. A special thanks to Blade48mrd for sending me the figure of the lady holding her child.
Hope you enjoy

That's good Alan. Good composition, nice choice of subject, and well executed. Very evocative of a scene that must have been replayed all across Europe. The trim pieces ( I presume the edging for the base) will make all the difference as the raw edges let it down, buts that's my only nitpick.

Yeah I know about the trim. Just too darn lazy to break out the saw.
Anyway a few more kudos to hand out.
Thanks Jackhammer81 for recommending the Preiser figures. They are perfect for this scene. Also a big thanks to Tankysgal and GI Babycakes for listening to my ideas and helping me develop the composition
